Well i love to fish but i dont eat any usually throw them back so anyone wanting to hang out id lvoe to jsut shoot the breeze and catch some fish

Got to the barge about 9:00pm... it started raining right after I paid my $7 to fish... at 9:30 I was considering going home... thought the night was going to be a "bust"... Decided to go out to the point in the rain to try for some sandies real quick before I left... said a little prayer, "Lord, let me catch one fish"... sure enough... Fish on!... Sand bass were thick!!! Caught a lot of babies but caught some nice keepers too... every cast... they were hitting mostly on my watermelon wine... had to go inside to let the "die hards" know they were running and before you knew it we were all out there in the rain slaying them! Crappie were slow... J_Howell, I witnessed Cody Neace's 1.53 and I caught a 1.14... so there. Stayed until about 12:30 am... got my $7 worth!!! Thank You Lord.

how was the crappie Wednesday morning? Stopped in and they where killing the big girls! It's like they run for 30-45 min at a time. You will kill them. Then they shut down. For a little then pick back up.

You actually have to pay to fish on a barge? Hell no! They pay me an appearance fee just to show up and school all the Top-waters in how to get brutally out-fished by a slightly fat white guy that looks like Ted Nugent in mismatched camo. I'm kind of a big deal there. I should be more altruistic by gifting them the opportunity to be in my presence. Everyone should experience greatness. It would be a sin to deny it or keep it to myself.

Basically haha... I can spend 5 bucks to launch it at grapevine which is only 15 minutes away or spend 8 at the barge and drive 30 minutes to get there. I'll make it out there someday soon, but in the mean time I will be on the boat!
