wat r the crappie and sandies hittin on there??? I've caught all crappie on jig's bobby garland's... anything from light colors to dark colors. I feel jigs out fish the minnows there at night and then minnows seem to out preform jigs during the day. Sandies as above have been caught on crank baits as well as jigs as well. I've had most luck on blue jigs

Should be able to catch both on Bobby Garland jigs.

Got out there for a few hours last night.... cold and windy, of course. Sandies were slow at first... only caught about 7 from dark until 10pm... decided to jig for crappie for a bit, caught 1 baby and a nice size LMB... As I was leaving at 11pm I went back out to try for sandies for a minute and caught 3 in a row while others were catching them too. All fish were caught on Bobby Garland jigs... Black Night, Dreamcicle Delight, and Watermelon Wine.

Update.
Last night crappie fishing was good. Not the best. But good. My buddy left with about 10 crappie. We got them in the shallow end from 3-7' deep. The couloir was black night and blue thunder.
Sand bass ok. The baby's where in.
Hird about 2. Non at night when I was there.
Sorry no pic.
I feel with the weather getting better ever day. This weeken will be a good one. I will keep you posted.

Went to the barge last night from 9pm until 1am...
Sandies?...... Non-existent... caught 1 little tiny one.
Crappie?......3 throwbacks.
*crappie started about 11pm, pretty slowly, saw a few decent sized ones caught...
Better tonight? Only one way to find out.

Any info anyone has about tonight (Friday) would be GREATLY appreciated!
Also - ANY info on what colors for jigs during/after rain out there would be VERY VERY much appreciated!!

Anyone catchin sand bass on marshal creek yet? Know about 2 weeks ago last time I was there they were hitting good on minnow east of the bridge. Couldn't get em to bit in artificial myself though.

I was out there tonight - really slow. Caught nothing fishing with 2 different size minnows & dual rig jigs (went through 15 colors) only saw 7 fish caught in 6 hours and only 2 were keepers The front really did a number on the fish Will try again next week
