I have a 2013 BX24, bought it Sept 2012. No problems yet other than a couple of voids in the gel coat. That was taken care under warranty. Been out in Texoma with 30mph winds and was no problems, had Bassfan with me and it was good. Was out on Lake Lewisville about an hour ago and it was blowing up to 20mph and again, no problems. I bought it at Jerry Whittle boats, have used their service dept 2 times and no problems there either.

I have one. I have had it for a little over a year. I have a few void under the gel coat also. It seems to be a great boat. I bought mine at Jerry Whittle also. I would buy another one.

I run the bx 22.and I also work the boat show for wittle with seahunt. The 19 is a goood size if your not a year round hadcore kindof fisherman.this boat doesn't have the same equip. the BX has.the deeper V in the BX models really makes it a smooth ride.I can take you for a ride if you are around Hubbard, maybe you can talk rockwall into one also. you can pm if you have any questions about them. also Sea hunt is #1 selling saltwater boat in the US.

I agree with Doug. If you can spend a few more bucks I would buy the bx22 or 24. The problem is it's a lot more than a few bucks. I am a cheapskate so the xp19 was good enough for me.

I don't know anything about the Sea Hunt. But I will say that if you like fishing open water, you'll love this boat for about 6 months. After that you'll probably be wishing you would have gotten at least a 22. Think about the water you will want to fish and the amount of people you would like to carry.

My 22' BX is exactly a year old now and purchased it at Whittle as well from a Art(nice guy). Service is great(Dale). I would definately buy another! The newer Yammys(4.2L) are fantastic, far better than the older 3.3L, better hull shot, faster pickup. Plus the digital throttle and tach is night and day. Acypert, you're right though it's def alot more chnage, could you finance it a few more years? I would def suggest 22 or 24 it as well. Whatever you decide you'll have a nice boat(Sea Hunt + Yammy)!! Good luck shopping.

Why would you recommend a bigger boat? because it hands the water better or just more room?
Call them tomorrow and seeing if we can work out a deal for a 22-23 ft Sea Hunt (WISH ME LUCK!)

I'm sure it handles the water better but a little more room would be nice. I have had mine out in 30mph and it did just fine. For the price I would buy the xp19. If you want to drop 10k-20k more then that's a different story. If you want more info pm me.

I have been in Roy's Sea Hunt fishing, great boat. Like Roy says the dollars go up along with the length!

Ok, Thanks Roy, I think I'll just stick with the xp19 I have looked at the boat 2 times now and loved it. The biggest thing for me is how much wind it can handle. I'm currently in a 20 ft bass boat and always get blown off the lake or just don't like getting beat around.

It's not only the length that makes the price, there are other options on the bigger boats that sea fox and century dont offer.the hull is different,it has trim tabs that really make it ride different.he's going out with me on saturday so he should see the differences .then he will have the tough decision to make.

I think it all depends on how much you're going to fish and how long you're going to keep the boat. I don't fish much during the summer because of work but I fish up to 6 times a week during the winter. So cold and windy conditions means I really don't want to fall in or get wet riding to a fishing spot. Plus I knew I was going to keep this one for a while, so I went for the 24'. I was sold on the 22 to tell you the truth, it's really a big boat, but the 24 ended up winning.
Couple of things, the bigger the heavier, so towing it costs a bit more. Also, lots of people talked about size of the motor and gas mileage. Mine came with the maximum displacement and I'm glad I have it. It's not about top speed, it's about torque getting out of the water with 4 big guys and water in both bait and fish wells. And it still sips the gas.

I have a 20foot sea fox with a 150 on it. It handles the rough water just like the bigger boats. I fish with friends who have 22 and 24 foot boats and I can't tell any differance in rough water. The 150 shoots out of the hole and comes on plane faster than any boat I have had. It pushes it around8 MPH hope this helps its not a sea hunt but i liked the sea fox better.
