 Crappie Morgue and the Game Warden.......

Started off with the water temp at 56 degrees, 1st fish caught in 30" deep water. The bite increased as the water temp increased. Slow start but, ended with a quick limit once the water warmed. I caught 7 Black bass, 3 Sand bass, 25 crappies and had 3 crappie over 2 pounds. I loaded my boat on the trailer and pulled up in the parking lot and I had the pleasure meeting the local Game Warden doing boat safety, fishing license and limit checks. He asked if had caught any fish and I responded. Yes Sir, I caught a limit. He asked if we could get the boat safety and fishing license check out of the way first, then will check your fish. Yes Sir. Everything passed with flying colors. Now lets see your fish. Yes Sir. I flipped the lid on the live well and the Game Warden said....Holly Smokes! No need to check the lengths on them! Grin! The man was doing his job and was extremely professional and courteous. One of TPWD finest!

I never minded see the game warden show up when I am fishing! They are often very nice and full of good information, about where and how the fishin is doing. I know our loacle gw. He's a cool dude!

ahhhhhhhhhhhh,the agony i go through while at work....i really enjoy reading the posts and knowing there are pics there,but due a city computer having all these blocks,i have to wait till i get home,log on and see the pics.looks like i'll have something to look forward to.keep it coming!

Nice Catch. Great when even the Game Warden does not need to check the length.....

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion.
