Snakes woke up too, if you put in at 78 you can float a little ways but will come to a white sand/rock bar thats about 45 yards long that you'll have to drag it over which can be dicey and slippery. Then just log jams etc to manuver around.

Good quality fish in Hubbard river. You will tear them up bc there has been no pressure and the waters lower which is the best fishing up there

There is plenty of pressure up there right now, lots of 4 wheelers and bank fisherman. Still a boat or too that can make it in but not many.

I am willing to bet you wouldn't "tear them up"
Chris spends as much time up there as anyone and I know he has been having varied success up north lately.
I got to meet a guy this past weekend that is an expert on raising giant bass and he explained somethings to me about the fish that he calls "super predators" and how they can affect a bass population, well that river is full of these and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the population has been eaten...

When I was working at the power plant on lavon the intake side there big screens in front of the pumps you could see down in the water see fish eat other smaller fish and by far bass was the most aggressive.
