I want to fish Joe Pool but haven't fished it before. Where is the best place to put in?

I usually put in at the Lynn Creek boat ramp and fish the cove there. It has trees, grass, and access to deeper water. Haven't really tried anywhere else.

Loyd Park-at the far south end. Shallow flats feed in to Walnut creek.

Nice flat place for yaks and a short paddle to the creek.

There isn't a "best place to put in" on Pool... just a best place for where ever you want to fish.

Nice flat place for yaks and a short paddle to the creek. Park at spot #11 for Walnut creek. It's a shallow cove that is protected from the wind.
