does anyone hav any suggestions on how to catch Monster cats in lake texoma i dont hav a boat i generally night fish off of a gas dock in about 12 ft of water

The dam is only good when they are running water. Try some of the camp grounds on the lake look for shallow water with structure

If you can only fish marinas, like the gas barge, find where the striped guides are filleting fish and fish that area!!

ok so wat bait and gear would i use i typically use 20 lb test with a #4 treble with my homemade punch bait but its good for 2-15 pounders which are great cause i fish for food but i wanna get a monster

Fresh shad with a 8/0 gamagatsu circle hook. If your on the Oklahoma side use striper or sandbags chunks. It's legal there but not Texas

Hagerman wildlife refuge(sandy point or goode area). lowes highport, simmons shores. Lake side of the dam is a decent bank spot. Lighthouse marina good to. You need fresh shad. Punch bait wont cut it unless you looking for eatin size channels. This time of year is a good chance to catch a big'un. You may wait all day for it though.

thats fine lol ive fished the light house my whole life lowes a few times which its no longer called lowes i used to fish cedar bayou marina the gas dock it was an amazing spot

Gizzard shad or perch use 65lbs test power pro braid with 50lbs test monofilement leader with 8/0 circle hook and a 2oz bank sinker.
