Trying to find something better than the $10.00 Blakemore stump grabber but not so expensive as a powerpole for anchoring boat to stumps. There used to be something simular to a pole catcher sold as "Ezee Loop" but web search appears their site is disabeled from ordering. Anybody know if there is another product like this available and where to find it? I want to be able to anchor to stumps for bass and crappie fishing without leaning over so far I wind up in water like last year. Lesson learned :stumps are good for fish but very bad for your ribs!

I use the things from Wally world. I've broken a few of them, but they're only 3 bucks so it was no problem.

You can make you own Ezee-Loop with a piece of stranded stainless steel cable and a piece of PVC pipe.

Also useing sinking rope will make it easier to put the loop on branches that are below the surface of the water.

Just curious, how did you anchor the rope end thats stationary in the pipe and how long do you make the pipe? Also useing sinking rope will make it easier to put the loop on branches that are below the surface of the water.

Gman And if you use the stranded steel cable, you can use it to keep gators out of the boat, as well!
