What area outside do you have any luck? I've seen and tried where people fish for catfish but that's about it. Me and my prego girl are probably gonna head that way and try out luck. Lol

How're things out there right now mike, any word? May try to wet a line for a bit tonight or tomorrow if tomorrow looks better. Talked to the guy who is working. It's a little slow one or two very 20 mins. With the weather could not say when to fish. I would try the AM bite myself. Good luck man.

I'm new to this what bait are they using can someone give me some idea please Bobby garland, Bobby garland, Bobby garland, minnow, Bobby garland. Jigs are the way to go. Minnow are good if you can't work a jig right.

Well, my dad also believed fishing was better when the cows were standing up. No wind is best on a boat. I always seemed to do better early mornings when there were clouds, mist and even light rain. Also, just before a cold front came through it seemed they bit well. My son works Friday so we probably can't stay late.

The guy is name is Mike and got some fish with he's son. In the AM.  Is the Mike guy a member on here? I worked with him a long time ago (Xycarb Georgetown)and haven't seen him in for ever. Let me know if you are on here Mike.

I'm so happy to see that this young girl caught a hybrid! When I was out there last week I was catching sandies outside like crazy and she came to fish next to me with a huge hook with a giant worm on it with a bobber. She wanted to catch a fish so bad so I gave her a minnow to put on her hook but she had no luck. she kept losing minnows while casting and even got hung up and lost her tackle. She kept saying that she wasn't any good at fishing. But she didn't give up. Nice fish for a great fisherwoman!!! Congratulations!

I always see Mike using minnows cause he doesn't know how to work a jig right X 2 to that. He's not good to catch crappie, sandbass or hybrids with minnows neither. He's only good to catch Buffalos with worms. JK.
