Have caught big small mouths throwing slow sink top waters ,,like
cordell blue striper baits..early morning and big large mouths --
throwing the at the rocks on oklahoma side of railroad bridge
and perots rocks ..good stripers too.. banana

'meanmouth' = cross between male smallmouth/female large mouth.(North American Fisherman, 4/2013, Return of the Meanmouth, page 19). Oklahoma meanmouth record = 8lbs 5.6 oz, beautiful fish...

I haven't caught one in Oklahoma, but I've caught them in California in a few of the motherlode lakes. None were as big as the one Chris has in the article. Chris is a big bass catching machine in northern Cali.
