Not too many people would appreciate a move like that, it's about respect and sportsmanship and Alton showed zero. Like Rojas said...garbage.

If this post would have been about Ike or Velvick pulling the same move there would have been 500 comments on the thread.

talk all you want, the professional thing to have done was to have given the water to Rojas......I personally think Jones cost him the tournament, of course we will never know now since Alton did what he did....

Since for some reason it did not record this morning I cannot watch it until later. Not gonna get into who said or who did what. If BASS edited this particular tournament to focus on this aspect of a difficult tournament, then shame on them for stirring the pot. If they are going to start this [censored], then maybe I need to reconsider my membership.

If Rojas let Jones get in his head than shame on him. Kreit was there as well as camera boats.

Get over it and move on.

ALTON WAS IN THERE ALL WEEK!!!! He found the water in practice! Quit crying because you didn't win! Take it like a man and move on. All Alton needed was 11lbs and he would have been set! There is no one here that would give up a chance at the big money just to let someone els win!..... It makes no since to give up! It's fishing guys anything can happen and only takes 5 casts! He was in there every day! To win at that level you have to fish all 4 days strong. He did nothing wrong and is a stand up guy!

Just understand, in the eyes of most pro's, someone that far out of the lead (especially on a tough bite) should have given space to the leader on the FINAL day. We can love Alton all we want, but you can't change that fact. The fact he fished there all four days does not change the opinion of the pro's on that unwritten rule.

After reading Altons response on Face Book things are looking different. The marshall was backing Alton up.

Jones was ahead of Rojas going in and all the way back into cove. Kriet was about 20 yards back of Rojas. Jones stopped and got on trolling mtr with rod in hand. Rojas pulled directly in front of Jones. I hollered at Rojas that he couldn't do that., but as I was in Cleburne,Tx he didn't hear me.haha
