I saw something on Bassmaster.com that said A. Jones and D. Rojas displayed poor sportsmanship in the last Elite Series tournament. Anyone know anything about this or where I can see what really happened? Doesn't seem to make sense.

They were fishing the same water up in a bayou/ditch. Kinda small water. The biggest factor in this "rumor" is that Rojas led after day 3 and only weighed one fish on the last day. Seems if their was any "un"sportsmanship BASS coulda stepped up!
Hey, it's tourney fishing with the highest stakes!

C'mon man, I know Alton is well respected in Texas, and I respect Alton as well, but that is dirty no matter how you slice it. You have 100s of miles of water and you fish just a few yards from the dude in the lead? Not too many people would appreciate a move like that, it's about respect and sportsmanship and Alton showed zero. Like Rojas said...garbage. If this post would have been about Ike or Velvick pulling the same move there would have been 500 comments on the thread. Alton is a stand up guy plain and simple Dont think anyone owns any of that water last I checked....I like a good battle mano y mano sometimes makes it interesting....

Rojas wouldn't have won even if he'd had that water by himself. Todd sacked 'em that last day! Plain and simple Rojas should have had backup water ... that place was so small that it was easily seined.

Why do you give up water to a guy just because he's winning the tournament? These little ol' tournaments pay more than one place.
