I am not real sure, or confident in doing this, but is it ok to run a 2 stroke 150HP VMAX in brackish water (50% fresh/50% salt). I have read to flush it, and wipe everything down with a vinegar/water solution etc...but I am awfully nervous about it. Any advice?
There's a reason why they call it a LEGENDLE-21

Your motor's fine. If you have a painted trailer, it's doomed. Period. You can't wash it enough to save it.
Then all those copper wires under your dash, in the bilge, behind each control plate? Doomed.
That nice bass boat carpet? Doomed
I can't tell you how many cancer cases guys tried to drag in to trade in after "one" trip to the brine. Learn from them, don't do it.
There's a big difference between a freshwater boat and a designed for saltwater, take heed from that.
