Hey Oscar! Welcome! We need to meet up on Hubbard sometime. I am just getting into this kayak thing and so far suck at catching but love being on the water. My other boats are canoes. Been wanting to put in at the old (gone) marina on Rowlett road and paddle across then up the creek but stuff gets in the way every time so far. Stuff is work and family so it is all good. I'm out of town for Easter weekend but off on Fridays so maybe able to go the Friday after Easter. Will post an invite if I do. Also like your knives. Let's work a deal for a set of the four Texas edition ones. I want to give my nephews each one as they each reach sixteen. Kool stuff there.

Welcome Oscar, It's great to have you here. I fish all over but haven't fished Ray Hubbard or Lavon at all. I would love to check one out one of these days.

Another great kayak lake is called South Lake just south of Farmersville.
Welcome Oscar. I'm new to kayaking but did drop into South Lake yesterday after paddling around the Mallard Park area on Lavon yesterday. What a pretty little lake. Crystal clear water, yesterday anyway. 56 deg on Lavon, 57 on South Lake, for those that care...). Fun but fishless afternoon..
