Like said above....and when you initially get hung don't jerk on it or try to pull it loose...your just making it worse. Get over top of it and it will come loose 95% of the time.

This works like stated, rarely do I lose a spoon, and I fish it all year round, usually the only time I lose one is if I hang it in a thick brush pile.
