It'll all work out fine...there will be a lot of high dollar gas burned, but we'll see some nice sacks brought in.

I'd call it a loss and drop the TM and fish at the take off!

Then I would get ready to head to Falcon......

BUT that's just me.

BTW Sabine River runs behind my house.....it's a nasty river if the river down there is like ours up here (above TBend).

I can barely get a flatbottom down it at certain times.

I wouldn't even let my fiberglass boat look at the river when I drive over!

I think after this weekend the price of lower units might go up. Gonna be quite a few given out.

I know of a few trailering to Deweyville, that dangerous. From I-10 north about 8 miles your fine, the river is 35ft average, in the channel. Some places its 90ft deep. There are reefs in Sabine lake...It don't matter where these guys fish, someone always rips something off. I've seen then run WFO through Black Forrest in Rayburn, and totally ignore boat lanes on Toledo. I think the event was a great choice, highly unlikely, but definitely a challenge, as it should be.

I love that almost none of them have ever been there. Makes for a great choice. It will be fun to watch. And those mechanics need something to do. smile

And they most likely won't make a fun trip down there afterwards!

I think it's great that they're fishing there. Kinda takes some of the field out of their element. It will show how good some of these Pros actually are. I'm curious on who catches the 1st Redfish or Flounder, It's gonna happen.

Kurt Dove posted a redfish on FB this morning.

It would be riding back to my grill!
