Welcome to the board and the hobby. You're going to find that its much more enjoyable than you expected. And, for the most part, once you've made the investment to by the kayak, it as cheap as you want it to be.

To me, there is no better way to end the week than to cut out early on Friday, throw the yak in the truck, and hit the river till sundown...even if all I do is paddle.
