Can you make a video for us and put it up on you tube? It could be helpful for some of us.

First you need to make a mold: Get you some free lead from the tire shop or where ever: You need some eyes, I used a piece of bailing wire: Make sure when your cookin leads you have the vent on and the door open or you do it outside. I wanted to make a big one here you can make as many as you want any size If you want to make them flat just use a hammer: I am going to start making ones that look like mini anchors. Good luck!

I think I ran out of room but heres some more info: This one looks like a little turtle Oh I forgot to mention if you use some high quality lead the weights will be smaller and heavier than store bought weights.... My weights are half the size for the same weight. About to make 20 ounce weights for swordfishing rig...

Not gunna knock em, im sure they work as intended. But for me, leads are cheap enough that i dont mind buying them. Ive always figured my time is worth more than the weights cost. But nice tutorial. Hope they work out well.

I make no roll type weights with a DO IT egg mold and a sledge hammer. Just put a piece of oiled coat hanger in the hole and flatten the weight out then Pull the hanger out of it.. Once every couple of years ill spend a few hours making sinkers and ill be good for a yr or so. But I always do it outside usually when a breeze is blowing, due to the hazzards of lead poisoning.
