A seagull at the coast once snagged my shrimp out of mid air...I set the hook cause he pissed me off. Had to cut the line and let it fly away. Still feel bad about that one to this day.

Foul hooked at 5 lb blue cat at Lake Brownwood while Bass fishing with a plastic worm. That was a war! About 5 minutes later I snagged a really old spin cast reel and rod. I thought I had a monster the way it was moving my line around in the water. That was a strange day of fishing.

A buddy back home at Lone Star Lake in Lawrence, Kansas was catfishing off the swim docks. We're chatting when we see his rod tip move couple of three times like a fish biting, he sets the hook, starts reeling and says this doesn't feel normal.....It WASN'T he had caught a wallet with D-license, student ID, Blockbuster card and $40.00 in it!!

Caught a Muskrat while fly fishing, he fought pretty hard. Needless to say he was not to happy about it. Not an easy procedure to Catch and Release a Muskrat from a float tube.
