Just FYI, when Mike tells you to head out for hybrids, follow his lead. Lol
@Mike, seen a number if crappie taken after you left plus one guy was owning the outside point while neither myself or DPJ could get any action other than numb hands and faces. Lol he even hooked into a hybrid, but lost it. He simply fished the bottom slow. It was looking like the crappie wanted to turn on. They got a lot b4 I left. One guy went 5 drop downs and 5 fish just b4 I left. Had fun fishing with you last night. Hope to see you out there again. Always a pleasure, sir! Learned a lot from you as always as well. It won't be long before I return. I'm an addict. lol The barge is stuck with me. Apparently DPJ shares this same addiction as well. Feeling his Pro Angler setup has me quite anxious to receive my new jigging combo. Definitely going to use the tight line as well. Feels awesome (especially for that price!) and apparently everyone loves it according to pretty much every review I could find. @Cody, we should set up a date/time to meet at the barge along with DPJ and Mike of course. Btw, I know this question is in the wrong section, but any luck with bass fishing lately?

Ok about line. Yes I think 4lbs is to lite for barge fishing. But I don't like braid!!! This is my opinion. I will not go in to the best and worst line with y'all right now. But I will let you know what I use. 6lbs tight line by off shore angler. It is 6 bucks for 2155 yards!! I love it. In the last 3 weeks alone I have got over 40 hybrids off of it. I have also got buff and carp with this line up to 13lbs. Just my  Mike this line sucks

I want to head out there today but is it worth going from like 3pm-8pm Sorry about that Man I just saw the post. I wish I could say ya go up there and you will kill them. But it's fishing and you never know. Last night was really slow. But the last 2 mornings when I was leaving they where getting a lot of crappie.

Braid all of the way.
LOL Just kidding. I am thinking about trying the line my self I only been using braid for the last two years and it's the lack of memory that I like the most of it and well yes getting back my crank baits off the log is good to.
