Up around Cedar Ridge Park, they'll be shallow late in the day. If not they'll be in about 15 to 20 ft. Have to use your graph and find them.

I went out today with the kids and chummed with cotton seed cake. We did not get anything, but then agin we did not fish long the wind kicked up pretty bad. later in the week I will head out and give it a try. I am really new to cat fishing so this is a leaning process for me. I only get to fish in the morning to about 1 have to pick the kids up from school.

777 thank you!

If you launch out of Rogers Park, take a right and go straight. You will take a curve to the left around the bend. Keep going straight and your headed right towards the sand flats.

Owl Creek, Stampede Creek and McGregor park are all good spots. Are you rod and reel fishing???? If so tie up to one of the trees that the Cormorants nest in and use cut bait on the bottom. There are a few of these trees between Owl Creek and the point of White Flint park. Cormorants eat lots of fish and they dump a lot back in the lake. Kind of like free chumming. You could also get some cotton seed cake and bait yourself a hole out. Good Luck !!!!

thanks I will give it a shot late in the week. I did pick up some cotton seed cake and will try chumming with that over by the sand flats now that I know where it is.

I've done a good amount of catfishing in the area, all of it from the bank. I usually hit the on base lakes; Nolan, Heiner, and Larned. Lately, I've had no luck.

Drop by Sinkers, a bait shop next to the CEFCO near Mr Nice Guys for catfishing tips for Belton Lake. He does guided tours and will also share various tips for what is working for him at the moment on Belton Lake.

Let me know if you have any luck, lately I might as well be casting onto shore.

I went out to the sand flats yesterday and got skunked. I tried chumming with sour Milo and cotton seed cake and still nothing.
