Well, I have been delayed in sending via email to the Calendar Crew due to email problems. But here is the October 2013 Lynn's Catfish Calendar for TFF along with the additional info.

Nothing much to report fishingwise, as I have been curtailed due to car problems since mid-May. However, I finally located the source of it & fixed it September 8th. It limped the whole summer. The symptoms would differ as time went on. It was a problem with the MAF (Mass Air Flow meter, sensor & pipe tube). Now it purrs like a kitten & can rev/roar like a lion. Even though the lake is down just over 7 feet, there may still be a chance I can make a T-Day Trip. But again, as in 2011, it would be with my sister's 12' Porta-Bote. And I will be trying to "not go swimming" as I did that T-Day by accident (fell out of the boat).

And I have the data, but not yet the time, to be able to compile the 2014 calendar. Hoping to get it mapped out & on track to finish & have printed copies available before the year's end this time. That will be a first.

Whew! Times are flying by. Two more months left for this year.

I have not had time the past few days due to working late, to keep an eye on Lake Limestone levels. Rain had gotten it up to where it was at 5.32' low (at 357.68 feet) Wednesday (10-30-13) around 10 PM. Of course, more rain might have come in & raised it a bit more. Then we had more coming Wednesday & Thursday. The news weather here noted we would get anywhere from 1 to 4 inches, but the areas above us might get even more. Lake Limestone is about 2 counties above us, as I live downriver from it.

Before I got to check just now, my uncle said it was above full level & they were dumping bigtime. Sure enough, we finally had the upstream rain that topped it off. Around May 19th, I was barely able to get out & in around the bend at Running Branch Marina as it was about 4' low when I pulled my lines. Currently showing that Lake Limestone is at 363.36 feet (363.0 is full level). They are dumping (releasing) 23,602 (cubic feet).

That is good to know! Hopefully, the "Giant" will move back in & I might get to go sometime this month or next. But because of the rain, I have to contend with roof repairs first.

And Thanksgiving Holiday for some runs Wednesday PM (27th) thru Sunday PM (1st). While TD & Friday are ZIP, there are 2 days BC heading into it, and 2 days BC to end it off. If I was able to go & time it, I would be able to bring in a hefty amount of Blues for the whole trip, including a couple of really good sized ones, working the calendar. Friday might be lean though. And if you will note, even though the calendar picks Blues to be the prime target, the 30th & 1st also are the base YC pattern days. So they too should be biting pretty strong, especially if you are running lines.

I just wanted to say thank you Lynn for providing me with a guide like this.

Always glad to help. For those who follow the calendar & keep records, they learn to key in even better utilizing the catfish calendar for Yellows, Blues & Gator Gars. Everything in this universe has patterns. Anybody can observe, experience, and record. From there it is simply a matter of mapping out the patterns.

Whew! Hard to believe, but this year has flown right by. Well, I best give you the December 2013 Lynn's Catfish Calendar before the month flies by as well. With these cooler weather days, the bigger Blues out to really be biting between T-Day & March.
