PoNeY... just bought a Pelican Bass Raider 10E myself a few days ago... I checked out the link that was offered .. www.harborfreight.com/catalogsearch/result?q=trailer and I'm pretty sure I'm going to own one of the 1195 lb capacity trailers (Item #90154) tomorrow to tote it. What I think is neat is that it can be folded up to 24" x 63" for storage, and has 12" tires unlike most I've looked at in this size that has only 8" tires. Jim Yeah, I just went to the local store to check them out. They are on sale here for $294 until Thursday. Ill be getting one soon myself ]

These are on sale at Academy this week guys. $149 and a rebate for $20 so price is $129. Wont find them new any cheaper. Act fast if you need a new one or want to upgrade from a 30lb to a 40lb. Makes a diff.

I think the Rod Riot is on right now too. I'm heading out on the water Friday. Who wants to go fishing?

I didn't realize that you guys had your own thread, and feel like the fat kid asking "can i play". Here is my pelican 10 fter all rigged up and ready to go. Do you guys ever worry about falling in with trolling motor on and the boat getting away from you? Bought a 15 ft boat trailer off c-list on the cheap works decent enough, better than loading in the back of the truck after a long day.

I have never worried about falling out with the TM running. I see you raised your chair up, have not seen that one yet. I like to keep my center of gravity low...prevents the falling out part

I wouldn't worry about falling out. Worst comes to worst, the boat will eventually make it to shore, and so will you.

did you sportsfan get the bass hunter thread started?
Kelly - look what they've done to the tube fishing thread!
Kelly and fishnaddict were the original 'tubers' posters who convinced the texasfishingforum staff to 'recognize'
- but that was over 10 years ago - haven't seen any original posters in a long while.
Must be the basshunter's...
Peace - all good!

I see! I see!
But I have to admit, I'm back to a pond boat myself. To many trips to east texas tubing and feeling like I looked like a giant duck to an old gator! LOL google 'twin troller x10', that's the boat I just got.
Anymore I just sit in the background and read. I rarely chime in much.
