I think I might try that hydroturf, that's what we always had on our jet skis. How does hard is that STS to wash off while you're out fishing, my kayak stays full of sand/mud.

I think I might try that hydroturf, that's what we always had on our jet skis. How does hard is that STS to wash off while you're out fishing, my kayak stays full of sand/mud. Is that the hydroturf stuff like the black sandpaper looking stuff? I won't mind using that stuff in strips. The STS is nice looking, feels good, and sticks well, but it is costly.

Nope, it is the pads they use on jet skis and ski boats and they have it in textures. Looks like the site is down right now but they do have smooth or textured.
