Just wait until you get a thump on one of em DPJ.You`ll think a granade went off in your hand. They have a very sensitive blank!!

Well, if that is the case, I would end up throwing it overboard first time i caught a fish...just like I would be trying to get rid of a grenade! Why it would scare me half to death!

Metaphoricly man rolleyesOK the Granade comparison might be a but much but what I meant was you will feel one heck of a JOLT.

I got an 8 footer three weeks ago. It had no problem at all until the second time I ever used it. I laid it on the side of the boat and the wind blew it under a cleat. I didn't even look down at it. I just grabed the handle and lifted and snapped it in half between the first and second eyes. I had another one just like it ready to go. Looks like I will be ordering another bottom piece soon.

Got to use my 8 footer rod today. I bought an Abu Garcia Revo SX 10 reel to put on it and I am in love! Caught about 10 sandies today with it and love the feeling of the rod and reel combo.

welcome to "The TFF Family of Anglers". I absolutely love ProAngler rods. I use my 8'er most often, but love my dock shooter as well and of course my 10'er. I can't agree with the idea their quality is slipping. No way. And I know if there is a problem with any rod, if he has the chance, Ed will make it right! thumb
