I'm not gonna call the man a liar. Another member said they have also caught spots in Squaw. And Granbury being the water supply makes it very possible if not probable that spots have found their way into Squaw.

Either that or they're meanmouths. For you naysayers, meanmouths have been documented in Squaw. Don't know what one is? It's a cross between a smallie and largemouth, and after stocking smallies in Squaw, there were many instances of hybridization. Don't believe me? 8th paragraph.

well, I learned something today. I always thought meanmouth were smallie x spot hybrids.

Me and buckeye bass caught a spotted bass out there 2 weeks ago. Wasn't anywhere 14" but they are there

You never see spots wieghed in at squaw because if your weighing in spots your running way behind at the scales but there are spots in there and mean mouths too!!!!
