I think a weight division would be better. Height division too. LOL

My first thought was eastfield college, but thats on the eastside of the metroplex. I don't know if Oakgrove park on Grapevine has a space that would work or not. A church with an open field would work. Then we could donate $2 to the church, and $2 to Upward athletic program, with the winner taking the rest.
Any ideas?

There should be enough space at one of the parks at lake GV and it seems central to many folks. At least people make it to the bank feast events.
Just an idea.
Every participant gets 5 tries. Longest wins.
If it was just $10 I have an old 13 ft Offshore Angler pole. I would donate to the cause.

To make it interesting we could do like they do in the softball leagues. Chug a beer, put the rod to our forhead and spin 10 circles around it and then turn around and make a cast
