My yak doesn't weigh that much...its around 80 pounds, but for a heavier yak, I can definitely see using schedule 80. Might look at larger tires too.

Yep, agreed. And if I find that these aren't performing as well as I would like, its really simple to switch them out.

Same cart I built with same wheels works perfect for me my only suggestion would be to get the large pool noodle seems to work better

Nice! Like the beefy wheels. I had one with skinny wheels and my cart turned into a plow when passing over sand or gravel patches. Good one.
