I don't know nmea either but I believe more ties into it, external GPS, engine data, radar and that kind of stuff. Ethernet just shares SI/DI, waypoints. I'm not sure which one runs the music program (sonic whatever it's called).

Pick this page first. Unless you only want sonar and 1 structure screen, if so choose that option. This gives both SI, DI & sonar.

While on that page hold the "pages" button down until the orange box goes around the side imaging screen. Then let the button out and press menu, there will be an option for structure scan viewing. Scroll to it and press enter, it will then show: right, left, right & left or down only. Select the one you want.

See the orange box around the DI image, that's what I'm talking about you moving to the option you want to change.

Remove the LSS1 module all together and network through the 12....

I don't remember they exact menu but the GPS comes set at 1 update every 5 seconds. You can change it to update 1 time per second. Surely you can find the menu by yourself or worse case scenario, the dreaded Owners Manual scared

I have an Elite 7 up front. After hitting my trolling motor switch a few times, my Elite just goes off suddenly. Any suggestions and how do you have yours wired in? Thanks.

Are you wired directly to your battery or are you wired into the bow components as you trolling motor is wired too?

Yes it's wired to the + & - on my battery 1 cables going from the trolling motor plug to the batteries. I'm thinking I'm going to either wire it to my switches at the wheel or directly to the starting battery. I'm guessing its pulling more amps than my old HB unit. Thanks for the help.
