I hear ya, CrazyFisherman! Just the other night, I was fishing inside cause it was really cold. I'm minding my own business and trying to enjoy my cigar, but I couldn't because those damn cigarette smokers green-housed the place and their nasty smelling smoke just killed the arouma of my Flor De Los Antilles! How can anyone enjoy a good cigar in a place that smells like cigarette smoke?

There is one thing I don't enjoy at the barge: People smoke inside there. There are people who do not smoke, and there are children and women too. I hope there will be a sign like anywhere in the public use area: "NO SMOKING!" F Your discrimanating against us smokers!!!! Lol

Update. Me and some of my buddy's fished last night. We did ok. I got about 13 keeper crappie no hybrids few and sand bass. Did not stay to late to see if they came in. Over all it was slower then the last week or two. But still good. Sorry about the smoking I don't like it but it is the way it is right now. Maybe one day if we cook food again we will not have smoking inside anymore. Only got one pic of a Mohawk crappie I got. Pretty cool if u as me.  beautiful fish brother

If you don't like the smoking inside dress warm and go outside there isn't a city ordinance against it so suck it up or shut up if you ask me...

 I went tonight at sunset left at 11:00pm it was slow for me but others did good. I was smoking my cigar outside like a good boy but I wanted to fish outside anyway..

the barge was on fire at the far point last night from 9pm till about 1am... i caught a total of 23 keepers. i started off fishing 14ft deep with minnow of a slip bobber and it was too easy. i switched to a jig and they were killing em.. no hybrids were caught when i was there but they were slaying the crappie shallow once again. I was out there with the black hoodie and rangers cap... nice meeting everyone last night!

Go out at the bathrooms and also at the point to the north outside. Just look for the crowds and you see the spots. Also try casting to the bank on the north side you will see a barge on the bank the Hybrids have been found close to the bank. Its going to be cold so dress for it that wind off the lake is cold. Good luck and report back. If Mike is working he will tell you what has been working.
