I put in and the end of Harpole road. Went to Blank road first. Looks like a better spot. But the dirt road has some deep mud ruts. Did not want to risk getting stuck. Moments like when I hate myself for not getting 4 wheel drive on my new truck

Off topic but your sig looks identical to my set up haha, Pescador 12' in sand. Paddle even looks the same. Confused me at first.

Were you happy with the spot you put in? I've never fished RR from a yak but want to in the next month or two. I see you're in Plano, is that on "our side" of the lake?

Aggie,

Yeah the pescador is a good yak! I love it. But just got a Cuda 12 so I am trying to get my friend to buy it.

I probably will give the spot another chance when things start warming up. I just got no action. I felt like I was on te main lake, which I didn't like. So when it warms up and the fish go shallow. I will probably fish buck creek or try the Blank road spot again. I wouldn't say it was on the "Plano side". More in the middle

Yep the Raybob skunk gets me most times. Just frustrating. But then sometimes it's just bam, bam, bam. I too think it's a little early but I can't help it, I still go over there now. The March 2nd tournament may have some warmer water temps. April/May seem to be best months. Nevertheless holler next time any of you head back over there. I think tomorrow I may try Town Lake of Prosper and stay out of the wind since it is supposed to be pretty windy. Supposedly that little lake has given up a 12 lbs'er. First though I have to go to academy or Cabelas to buy the latest lure I saw on a fishing show this morning! I'm sick man! Just sick!
