TFF is like any family. We disagree on some things but we all share something in common. We fish and on this forum we fish for crappie and better yet we get to fish in Texas. I'll take my buggy whippins and keep catching crappie on short rods. I'm even thinking about getting one of those 4.5' pro anglers and I won't use it for dock shooting. I'll Jungle Fish it and wrastle them slabs out of thick cover with it! Keep sharing because believe it or not there are many out there who really appreciate it.

Two great things came out of your post. Customer loyalty and company response. Making it right is what creates customers for life. Any company can have something go wrong with their product, it's how they respond that makes a difference. And one thing is for sure; if Bobcat believes in a product he'll let you know. His friends know he's got their back and we could all use friends like that.

Personally, I have tried all sorts of rods...keep going back to ugly sticks..got at least a couple dozen...I have been considering getting a pro-angler since everyone on this forum seems to fish them...It is refreshing to see someone ask the question about problems with those sticks...It is more refreshing to hear about their customer service and willingness to address any problems with no questions asked...basically, made my mind up to buy one and give it a test run...so can just keep bringing up those kinds of issues, as far as I am concerned.
What's more...thank you!!!!

Just for the record, I don't own nor ever have owned a ProAngler rod. I didn't make my comments out of loyalty to them. I just thought it was in poor taste. It's obvious the question was never asked ProAngler before being posted here. That would be who I would ask first. Then if I wasn't satisfied I would ask my friends.

Next time I'll keep my opinions to my self on your posts.

Now that's what I get for assuming. I've been driving in traffic too long and am in danger of becoming one of those who rush to the front of the line and cut everyone off. Still think we all need more like you Bobcat. Nothing wrong with reminding us to use good judgement. Heck, where were you when I was 20 and needed someone to tell it to me straight and not sugarcoat it?

Well obviously would have been better to contact proangler first but it doesn't really matter at all. Doesn't matter if Proangler got the call first or finds out from this forum, the result will be the same. First class service and satisfactory response to the issue will be post haste!

Ed will make things right you can take that to the bank for sure! No need for anybody to git feathers ruffled up as the end result will be positive with Proangler products. smile

You need some thicker skin fella. I didn't bash you or anybody. Just voiced my opinion on the great proangler service. They take care of their customers a fact long gone on many retailers. Be glad for your Proangler purchase! smile smile Note the smiley faces!
