I'm going to start selling a combination set of thumpers and ear plugs! We were at Tawakoni recently and an elderly man yelled at five of us on a buddies boat that we sounded like a bunch of jack hammers. We had two people thumping. Personally several of us on the boat probably are jack hammers... But I won't give up any names Terry or Aaron! Funny thing was we were catching all the fish and old "yeller" didn't catch one! All kidding aside spoke to an man recently that had a place at Tawakoni for years. I told him about the thumping and he said he did it for years there. He said one of his good buddies worked at a hatchery for years. His buddy said when it was time to feed the hybrid and striper fingerlings they would beat on the side of the metal containers and the fish would come eat. I'm serious! So that is why they come when they are called. You heard it here first! So it's in their DNA. Now Matt the Fish Whisperer will know the truth behind the history of the thumpers of old....

WOW and all this time I thought it was the spirits of the Tawakoni Indians!
