thatll work!! Mark sure looks proud of all that bait he caught!!! lol  What are you doing in this section! Them scaley fish taste good and I don't have to find bait! 13ankin_It, thats why i like chasing them too and I don't have to lug all my catfish rods..lol...Dang I'm gonna have to hit up the barge one of these days. that makes 2 of us

Question about the sign in the background?? What are the fees and is there a senior discount?? What are the hours ?? Sorry just looked at the post today. 7 per person for 1 pole. 1 for extra poles. 3 max. And no sorry no senior discounts.

Caught 23 sandies last night. There were some hybrids being caught, but mostly sand bass. Not crappies, but I had fun though.

The crappie were biting GOOD last night as well. I probably caught 20-30 and seen a ton more caught..

Most fish are being caught outside, but you have to find out where (just fish where a lot of other people are) but don't white rock people and fish right on top of them there is plenty of room and plenty of fish out there that you don't need to fish right on top of people. I haven't fished a minnow out there and just fished straight jigs and been a pretty consistent bite. Make sure you have your fishing license as well the game warden has been coming out more often due to the number of fish being caught (and people have been know to call the game warden out there as well if they know people don't have a license)

Id say this GO AT NIGHT day time well waste of time but any time fishing is not a waste.
Its clear to me the last few weeks are good at night the sand bass are in and the hybrids to. And the crappie are in. If you go be sure to go outside and see what is going on lots of fish are found. The shad have been in real heavy and the fish I have taken home have a load in them. Last I was out red and black anything was working for me. For a first time for me at the barge I was casting my jig and doing a slow retrieve for the hybrid and crappie not just jigging. It is sure fun to catch a hybrid on a 6# rigged crappie pole.

Like it was said b4 the crappie where in there thick last night!!!!!!!! It was really cool! Had fun getting them. The bite slowed way down about 1 hour after the wind picked up. The sand bass thicker. They where there all night! Most of the time every cast. I got 3 hybrids just B4 dark. Saw a few more hot about the same time. Only got one pic last night wish I could have had a pic of the crappie going out the door but to busy getting crappie to stop for a pic. This is two limits of sand bass.
