Thanks everyone! I just bit the bullet and ordered the Lowrance Elite-7 HDI Combo 83/200/455/800 T/M Transducer and a ram mount for it. I ordered from djsmarinelectronics here on the forum, great prices and good people. Just gatta decide how i am going to mout the transducer and i should be ready to go!

Starting to get a few things in! Got the Ram transducer arm with 1" ball and the 1.5" ball for mounting the FF in along with some sweet Hook1 stickers and my new Yakima auro saddles came yesterday. My FF and mount should be here tomorrow. Just waiting on some STS and a few other small things. Also still patiently waiting on the call to come pick up my kayak and paddle!!

I got the Werner Skagit 240cm and I love it. If you haven't bought it yet you might consider 240. Most people I've talked to with shorter paddles say they wish they had gotten a longer one.

Thanks man but I use a 230cm with my current kayak and like it allot. I am going to check out a 240cm if they have it but I am not sure the few inches of seat height will change the paddle length.

I also tend to have a high angle paddle stroke.

I asked this once but never got a response. I ordered the ride 115 and got the lower seat. Did you get the raised seat and if anyone else out there has a ride, which do you prefer? I may change mine to a high seat when I pick it up.
