Lures are not catered to fish...they are catered to fishermen.
Do not let fancy colors and flashy packaging remove you from what fish want.

There are always two sides to a story and you might not be the innocent party you would have everybody believe you are. Take a look in the mirror you might not like what you see.

There are always two sides to a story like yours. You sound like you were wronged but that could be just your side to the story. The other people involved might have a totally different story than yours.Just because you came on here first and spilled your guts don't make it the truth. And just because you have friends that are in on your little game don't make it the truth either. When you fish a public place you can expect to run into other people that don't find your games fun or friendly.

When someone intentionally casts right to where you have been catching fish, it's rude. He wasn't playing games, he was fishing, and someone came along and tried to take his spot. maybe you should look a little closer at the details before making such an inappropriate reply.

I was there and witnessed the whole episode. This man was not the victim but the aggressor. He was intentionally casting over lines because the guy was fishing 30 feet from him on a crowded fishing pier in high wind. This guy was not the only people he was casting his lines over. He was not watching his lines and they were down the pier at all times. When this guy and others tried to reason with him he went on a personal attack and was extremely rude. Why he would act like this in front of two small children does't make any sense. He commented that these people made good examples for the children but he was worse than anyone . He was the most rude person i have ever had the displeasure of coming in contact with. You obviously wer'nt there so keep your pie hole closed.

@spencer....If you have a problem with me address it to me. Send it to me in a PM and don't clutter the board. You don't need to attack others. Mullet is a nice young man who goes fishing with hid Dad and family at the pier. He and his dad are excellent and courteous fishermen who often fish next to me or Pferox. Herbert77060 and Pferox were both on the pier last Saturday. Pferox had his line cut on purpose by the potlicker. You saw how the potlicker stuck a white handled knife into the cleaning board attached to the pier so he could cut Pferox's line. Everyone saw it.

I don't have a problem with you personally.I just don't like the way the truth was fabricated to make you sound like the victim. In my opinion you were both wrong. If you post falsehoods like this you will have to get used to comments from the peanut gallery.I just didn't want everyone on here to think this person was so bad but you were just as responsible as he was.Ugly comments were coming out of your mouth also..You are an older man and should be a little more road wise but my mom said there aint no fooll like an old fool..If you do not like my comments dont read them.If you dont like the way i reply to other peoples comments move to russia this is a free country.

Free country? Maybe you should look a little more closely at the Constitution.

Not true at all. This guy began fishing near the front of the pier. Close to the restrooms. When he saw he wasn't catching fish and Jim and Robert were he moved closer and closer to their spot. I wasn't catching fish where I was and there was plenty room on the pier not to fish shoulder to shoulder. The fish were not biting where I was and I was closer to Jim and Robert than this guy initially was. It never occurred to me to move in on their spot because where I was was not producing fish. That is not good pier etiquette. I got there approximately 15 minutes or so after Robert and this guy comes in much much later and then moves in on his spot because that is where the fish were biting.

That is sad.

Also, this guy tried to speak to me as I was leaving but I had no conversation for him because he was a jerk. I do not talk to jerks.

damn, at least say something the first time, itd take 5 seconds and maybe they didnt know. It takes literally 5 seconds to just tell someone your line is in the water, you dont have to be an arse about it and chop their line right away, just mention "hey buddy, i just want to give you a heads up you crossed my line on the last cast, you mind keeping an eye out for it?". after mentioning it, after time number 3 then sure, start cutting away
