Never tried with waders, I am not sure if the bottom is soft and muddy or sandy (Like by 2499). I just got a pair of Waders, I shall give it a try when I have time.

You are correct but I work in Irving so I stop by the closest water while there is sunlight. This is the year that I am dedicating to catching crappie & sandies in the creeks. I have fished DD many of times, not much luck so I changed up my fishing patterns and I am now focused on the creeks. Summertime for me is the best season to fish Texoma... Good luck with the waders, I have caught a lot more fish after I bought waders

GoldSpoonr and Bin, I have waded the creek in the summer. Halfway through wading, the damn released water and at the deepest points it got to about 6 ft deep.

I went for the first time last Tuesday and the water was really muddy. Is it always that way? Is the only access at 377 and 1147, if that's the right road? Also what lures do y'all like to use there? Sorry lots ofQs just Never tried this type of fishing before.

And yes, Denton creek never get very clear (at least these two years) When it is at the best, you may see about a little over 1ft deep.

Thanks GoldSpoonr. Thanks Joe, do you mean the upper part of the creek west of the lake? Or under the dam?
