I would buy the seat bases and be done with it.
Get yourself a thick padded seat.

I think I'm gonna buy em and be done. Looks like tomorrow will be my maiden voyage . Where they bitin at Haha.

The waters too cold to travel that far.
Go to Luna and fish the creek.
Heck it's right down the street.

I went to Luna twice over the past 3 weekends. Water temp is still pretty low. It was tough fishing for sure. It will get better over the next few weeks.

Actually I have 2 over 8lb and 1 over 9 all in feb this year. Only way to catch them is to get out and cast. But you will have days that are tough , unless your "not"into catching big bass then wait till better weather

I've got a 6 this year that I caught on New Year's Day so the cold doesn't bother me at all but the fish get all uppity about it. I am definitely having a tougher go at it than I did last year for sure though.

Carlos and I took "The Battleship" out for it's maiden voyage today. Not more than a nibble for us today, but it was still a good time. The boat ran great! It is FAST! had a few glitches with the FF and we could have used some anchors, but we survived the wind.

Ok, I'm a dumba$$. I went out to Bachman this morning. I had the motor on high and paddled and was still going backwards. It was a little windier than i thought. I ended up beaching the boat and drove back for it. I took on LOTS of water. Haha!
Caught 1 decent fish under the bridge at Lemon. He hung my so bad in a brush pile that the only way I could have gotten buried deeper was if I dove it down there my self.
