I like how everybody has to compare a boat to a ranger, they must obviously be the best

Triton isn't going anywhere. The HP models still have to be driven to an extent. But is very easy to do with a little seat time. Normally when one is hard to drive it is setup or over trim by the driver. The XS models are like driving a Cadillac. I have run 65 in 2 footers while drinking coffee. Texas Boat World has both models with demo rides available.

I've not heard this but am not that in tune with the boat business. Wouldn't surprise me though if Fishing Holdings and Platinum Equity would kill off that brand. Fewer options means better prices for their Rangers.

Ah...The boat show season rumor mill! Who remembers in the 80's and 90's that every year during the boat show season some company was always rumored to be going out of business. This was a regular post annually for a long time on fishing forums! laugh laugh

I'm sure we all want to pay 60k for a boat that chine walks at 65mph.

Mine runs 72 and doesn't walk

You don't run their TR-21 do you? I've been nearly thrown out of a TR21 and had a buddy that had his lab go overboard when the dog tried to get in his lap mid chine. don't get it.
They dont chine walk with a good driver. I can drive my TR21 at w.o.t. with one hand.

I was looking at a used Triton last year and noticed two new ones. Salesman said they were both sold and both over $65k. Bass boats are expensive. None of the top brands are cheap.

I have a Largemouth at home....sometimes she lets me go fishing.

Gary Dobyns got thrown out of his Z-520... Bad things can happen in any boat.
