I use these three. The Falcon Cara has more backbone and I like it better for the 6XD's or bigger. The Duckett 7'6" I use for large square bills up to 6XD's. The Duckett 7" I use for smaller cranks and even top waters. It just depends on what you like to throw.

Falcon Cara Deep Cranker 7'3"
Boyd Duckett Micro Crankin Series 7'6"
Boyd Duckett Micro Crankin Series 7'

I have the 7'4" KVD. How'd yours break? And are you not wanting to go back with the KVD?

Castaway Skeleton 7' Cranking rod. Great rod for a fair price. Awesome for squarbills and mid depth cranks. I just got one a couple of weeks ago and love it!

Check out Ron Grantham's Reel Time Rods.

He custom builds them and can make you a great rod for a good price.

Duckett 7'11" MH version or St Croix Mojo 7'8" Crankster. I have both of these and both are very good.

Ron at Reel Time Rods will fix you up with a custom rod and the price will be close to what you will pay off the shelf for a decent rod.
