Ok, here goes, it would really be nice if the co anglers would park their vehicles out away from where we need to be parking trucks with boat trailers. I saw 7 vehicles taking up truck boat parking, just because they were to lazy to park up the hill on the grass. Then they get in their boater's truck and can't find a place to park, now how smart is that? If you are early and LAZY go ahead pull down to the floating ramp, stack that 160 pounds of needed equipment by the dock and then drive the car to the grass on top and park. You can then smoke 3 cigg's and slowly make your way back down to the ramp area. Come on just a little courtesy is all that is needed. Ok back to who has the best rod's and other stuff. This has always been a huge problem at the BFL on both Rayburn and Toledo... It's way worse on toledo, especially cypress bend. The TDs have always announced it trying to correct it... But it still suprised us how many people don't listen.

Tournament boys seem to want to own the lake and parking lot , they are so discourteous on the lake many times and now you complain because someone doesn't leave your tournament fisherman a parking spot - boy is that a deal - correct the tournament behavior and THEN worry about if someone got your spot - these lakes are made for water rights, the public fishing and the public enjoyment - not to cater to promoters , the gamblers, which all Texas tournaments fall under the Texas gambling laws and be glad the public keeps putting fish back in the lake for you to gamble on with their license fees- Tpwl says only 6 % of the people tournament fish so add that up to who pays the bill I take a little offense to this statement, I know an awful lot of tourny fishermen, and i can tell you, they are an outstanding group of people, sure once in a while you get a bad apple, but isnt that true of all things? Dont lump all of us in one bunch, I can guarantee you courtesy on the water works both ways

By the way, I only smoke one cigarette walking from the parking lot to the my boat. I have worked my azz off for 40 years and Grout Scout when you have done the same you can call me lazy. If the lazy shoe fits then wear it, I don't care how many years you have worked. Smokers suck, lazy guys smoke that stinking cr@p and then throw the remnants on the ground. Pure lazy...

Easy Fisherman, if you could read you would see he was ragging on other tourney fisherman. It is not ok for anyone to park a car in a spot for a truck and trailer. Moron.

Funny it did not seem he was calling out any recreational fishermen. Also to put it all in oerspective we as anglers all pay the exact same portion of the pie. That 94% you referenced individually pay the same fees as a tournament guy. Hell last I checked tournament anglers are considered part of the public. Tournament anglers help keep fish stocked and lakes maintained exactly the same amount a non tournament angler does.

People pulling into a parking area take the first space available. Just like pulling into your local Walmart. If that ruins your day fishing then then you are doomed from the start.

The guy is just trying to point out that it clogs up the ramps for tourney guys and recreational folks too. By the trailers being so far away the walk to get them causes delays for all. I guess I am missing the part of him being unreasonable. He is only talking to other contestants to be more courteous. Its not a rant for himself he is talking about it delaying load out in a bad way. Sounds to me he is looking out for us all. To hear some talk here though tourney guys only care about themselvws.

The point is pretty simple. Is parking your car or truck in a parking spot designed for trailers courteous? Maybe not, though I think it's debatable. Is getting on a public forum and expecting a bunch of grown adults to make you feel better in your terribly downtrodden and mistreated state of mind necessary? No. It's childish and petty. Be thankful you have the ability to fish and get over it.
