My father and his buddies are at Beacon til Wednesday. So far they are averaging about 20 to 30 fish a day all shallow on the south end. Seems like weightless plastics and Chatterbaits have been the ticket for them. The slower they fish the better he said. Biggest fish is a 9.95.
Me and 14 buddies are headed down there Feb 16 to 24th. Staying at bed and bass lodge. This will be our first trip down there. Can't wait.

I can use some advise....i was there all day yesterday, only 1 little bass and 1 tilapia that somehow got may shallow crank.... The little bass on a carolina rig on 14 ft. ..... Try everything...with no luck

THe lake is fishing extremely tough for falcon standards. I heard of several people that actually went fishing all weekend and never caught a bass.

i keep hearing the spinner bait bite is on false. IMO i threw the hell out of several different types. that is a long drive for those kind of results

thats why its important to learn to fish deep structure...I didnt do well but saw a white triton with a couple of guys had a great bass on a main point or secondary point..i dont know the terms well..take the pic and let go....nice thing to do...
