"Sand bass" or White bass is a species listed within the Texas Parks and Wildlife Outdoor Annual 2012-2013 and is an allowed species for this tournament. We are following the size and catch limits of the state rules.
Yes, only 1 rod can be fished at a time.

Are the entry fees going to benefit a local charity or youth organization?

can you use a jon boat with a livewell???? Why use a livewell. Nothing in the rules I see about a dead fish penalty. (Although there should be one)

Yep. No penalty shown. You just have to make an effort.

If you guys can't catch 5 good "largemouth bass" on Arlington and keep them alive then you might as well stay home! Quit nitpicking just fish the damn thing! If anyone was to worry about the rules and wording then question the payout! Rookies! Lol!

Yes, I am a "rookie" to tournaments w/o a dead fish penalty and sand bass can be weighed in. Regardless, I've paid my $30 already and will see ya'll there.

I hear ya! My point was primarily if you're weighing sand bass you're not gonna win. And rarely do my fish die and I fish a lot! Just catch big fish and count your money, I caught a couple overs last week so it should be a good tourney, just wish that it paid better! Ill be at the APT on Ray Bob, come join us!

I'm sure if you have proper ariation on your fish holding device (live well) then it would be fine. Just call the park, but I'm guessing if you can weigh sandies then the boat won't matter! Lol
