Need to get over there and pull some spinner/harness rigs.

Its very small. If you know anything about walleye I'm sure you can catch one. I for one don't know the first thing about them and it would be a total accident if I caught one.

I have never really tried to catch them either but we wore them out in broken bow in OK a few years ago with deep dive crank baits and inline spinners. It seemed really easy but it could have just been a really good day on the lake.

I fish Wheeler often but have not targeted the Walleye. Hope they didn't kill many fish with the nets. Several of those Bass looked familiar.

It's been a while but, I used to fish for them up North quite a bit. Leaches, cranks on wind blown points, and jig head and minnows when the were deeper along weedlines. Summertime, down here I wouldn't even try. Although I did catch a few last summer at lake murray. Too bad, I don't think they will spawn here. My biggest walleye went over 10 lbs fishing at midnight during the spawn a few weeks after ice out. I think they stop spawning when the water hits 45 degrees.

There's no doubt some of those fish are dead, look at some of the walleyes coloring. We all know how easy a bass will die. I guess they can't electroshock the walleye in deep water.
