I got turned around on that lake a few years ago and found myself running 75 mph right in the middle of a stump field, I was afraid to shut it down, was a miracle that I did not hit one, we went back and looked, they were huge ones in there.

Kickapoo is the most frustrating place I've ever been in terms of trying to troll, much less idle. A couple of years ago the water level was such that most of the stumps were about an inch under the surface. The wind was blowing about 20 mph and I don't think I trolled more than an average of 15 feet without getting stuck on another one. It was almost impossible for me to fish.

When we tried to idle out, twice I got stuck with stumps in all directions around the boat and I thought we weren't going to get out.

Kickapoo isn't for people who get easily frustrated.

I left Kickapoo at 3 on Saturday and there was not a boat around. Maybe Sunday?

That's just crazy. What would make a person think you could run up there?

What's the problem? I see plenty of paths I can run through there.
