I would follow advice of the guides. I have been having luck on creeks and creeks. They have pulled into them till spawn. Still fish deep. But got to know where they are. Any cove or arm with good creek channel will hold fish. Start in mouth and work back to see where majority of fish age holding

Day in and day out the shallow fish are most dependable right now. You could catch them out in 15-18, however shallow (less then 7') is going to be most consistent. Red Eye shad lipless crankbaits, Hack Attack jigs and Rage soft plastics are best. Check my post from earlier today "Lake Fork Yesterday" Hope you have a great day.
