YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE. Its out of this world good. Little bitty hole in the wall joint that is run by one woman doing it all. She's amazing! This is a hidden treasure that you must try.
Cheesesteak done RIGHT. Best dang cheesesteak in the metroplex. Done the way they do it up there. Chicago Dog that was out of this world. Gyro that was sooooo good.
You won't leave hungry. And Veronica is a trip!

Thanks, Kat....I'm on it! We've got a place up here on Main Street Grapevine, called Weinberger's Deli True Chicago style dogs and Italian Beef Sandwiches...dunked in the juice...lunched their yesterday. But...A-town isn't far away...I'll head to Donnie's and will report back!

ooooh, why did you have to do that to me. I love that place.
Veronica is a hoot; tells everyone she loves them. Awesome sweet potato fries and she makes the best cheesecake I've EVER had not to mention the steaks and DAWGS. I'll be there tomorrow.
He husband Donnie works the hair place next door, they are from Philly. Good people.

Ate here Sunday. It was great. Not what I was expecting. Perfect amount of cheese. She is a character. I thought she was fun, and added to the atmosphere. My wife thought she was annoying, over the top, and invasive.

I took the trip there last week and took lots of pics...and will post them soon.
But, I wasn't thinking and forgot to avoid the last minute Christmas shopping along I-20 near Cooper & Matlock...DOH!
Veronica is indeed a character...and her husband is right next door at the beauty supply place.
I had a Polish-Boy (I'm from Chicago...required eating).
Like I said...more pics and details to follow.
