I would recommend Okema Lake or Dripping Springs if you are close to the middle of the state. They have some nice chunks in them! I used to catch a lot of good fish out of Dripping Springs. I fished it all the time when I lived in Tulsa.

I caught this one at Eufaula last April at a Fed Nation Qualifier. Not hawg by Texas standards, but I was proud to have it. She had dumped her eggs and had half a tail, but she went almost 7 and a half. There always seems to be a huge smallie weighed in at a Eufaula tournament. I just don't know how to catch them. Lol!

Headed to Arbuckle next week pick up son Okie City he know's the lake. Can't wait looking foeward to fishing and seeing my son.
