What action and length of rods do yall like to use, and for what applications? Jigging, spider rigging, live bait, etc. Also, do you prefer 1 or 2 piece rods. Thanks for your help.

Haven't used a Pro Angler (sounds more and more like I have to check 'em out).a
My favorite so far has been a 2 pc built on a 7 ft. Loomis blank, 4-10 lb (I guess that would be a light action). Other than the 2 pc rods occasionally working loose, I can't tell them apart from a 1 pc.

I light 7ft medium light action rods for most crappie fishing. I do have some 6ft medium light rods I use when fishing under bridges and some 5 footers for dock shooting and fishing barges. I have some 8 and 10 footers that only see action during the spawn. All my rods are light or medium light rods with 6 or 8 pound test line.

Everyone has a favorite. A lot depends on your experience level as well. No point in a novice angler getting a very expensive rod that only an expert would really be able to appreciate.
Better question would be what is the best rod for the money. The cheapest rods are definately inferior.
A mid range rod like the Pro Angler, Wally Marshall, Falcon or BnM would probably be the best choice for most anglers.
Next step up might be the high end Shimano, St Croix, Tica or custom rods.
Find one with the action you like and stick with it. Doesn't matter what someone else likes.

8', 10' or 12' cork handle Pro Angler rods here. The 8' I use when fishing brushpiles. 10' rods I use when i want to stay back away from the bank, stumps, trees, and bridge pylons. I can also fish both sides of the bridge pylons without having to drive around the pylons. The longer rods allow me to reach over. 12' rods the same as above especially when the wind is howling and I want that little extra distance from structure so I don't have to fight with the wind and tm as much. During the spawn I will always have my 12' rods in the boat. This past year during the spawn when the lakes were so high they came in VERY handy getting back in stuff we would not have other wise had a chance to fish. There were times i wish i had a 20'-30' rod. Almost forgot....I also use a 5 1/2' UL when I want to slow roll a sassy shad or one of my jigs setup with a spinner. I use this when fish aren't where they are suppose to be (or rather where I think they should be and can't locate them). This method in a creek covers a lot of water faster than just jigging out in open water.

My personal favorite is ProAngler, different lengths for different applications. For jigging boat slips and around bridge columns unless very low bridge, I love the 8'. Spider rigging I use different lengths depending on placement of rods, # of rods, type/kind of lure or bait, and depth of water I am traveling over.
I also have some higher end rods. Still my favorite is ProAngler with cork handles. Feels light and sensitive and comfortable in my hand. Catches plenty of Crappie!
But, ultimately just like anything else, it ends up being individual preference.

The 7' tournament choice medium graphite premium rods that they were clearing out about a year ago work good for me too. That would be the sort of rod I'd use for all around fishing including crappie.
Lately my cheater rig is to fish with 4 light action graphite poles at a time ranging from 5-12', two poles at two different lengths in each hand. Once I figure out where they are at or what jig they want, I'll drop down to fishing 1 or 2 rods.
Spider rigging I just use 9' fiberglass poles. The flex gets better unattended hook sets and the glass is sturdy.
Deep water jigging, light bite, etc, I'll use shorter higher quality graphite poles that are very stiff /fast action with a light weight braid... however sometimes a slower action pole will catch more fish.
