The new cloaking device works great on the new yak LOL!

I could not resist that one LOL!  rolfmao

No slime on this trip, it really wasn't about catching them fish Big Redneck style today. I got some awesome quality time with my boy, that's always a bonus. And some details on future rigging like front pole holders, and where I'm going to mount other accessories.  I love that Cuda 14, and it did not take no time at all to learn the advantages of having a rudder, I would almost put one on any fishing yak now. I brought some masking tape and a marker to mark my paddling stroke in low and high seating positions before mounting any track systems and what not. It stinks to mount some accessorie to find out after its in the way of paddling. I've still got some figuring to do but that's one of many fun things about kayak angling.

We did have a friendly chat with a couple other fellow yak anglers, y'all know MJMFC. He nailed a nice cat while we chewed the fat, he lost it right at the yak bang he laughed it off and said its almost game time anyway cheers

We had a lot of fun and can't wait till the next trip out, but with more slime.

I've only stood up in a empty Cuda at the Grapevine GTG. With out thinking today I almost grabed the strap and poped up, but always trying to put safety first I thought about it. I was spooked about doing it for the first time with a loaded kayak, in the cold water, and I did not think about it while loading up at the ramp if my gear was balanced out. I figured everything was pretty balanced just from paddling past few hours, so up I go and my son said WAIT! Let me get the camera first. After about 20 minutes of standing up tossing a cranck bait and paddling standing up, I was tickled pink and my son said darn no Youtube.

I like the lay out on the Cuda. I like the elevated chair and the rod tip protector. And the storage is very cool too. Got me thinking now, I may have to get my son the pescador 12 and the Cuda for me. clap
